Wednesday marked the 12th practice of preseason camp for Florida Atlantic’s football team. FAU coach Lane Kiffin offered some candidates for biggest surprises on both offense and defense.
On offense, Kiffin singled out quarterback Daniel Parr, who is behind both Jason Driskel and De’Andre Johnson on the depth chart. Parr has received second-team snaps in four of the last six practices as Driskel and Johnson missed practices.
“I say surprise just because we haven’t seen him much [before camp],” Kiffin said of Parr. “He’s done really well. Everyone else, we kind of had a good feel for.
