Wojciech Wojcik signs permanent deal with Energy FC

The Oklahoma City Energy FC has announced the signing of striker Wojciech Wojcik on a permanent deal for the 2017 USL season. The Polish attacker spent much of 2016 in Oklahoma City playing with the Energy, where he made 23 regular season appearances and scored four goals.

Wojcik originally joined the Energy in 2016 on loan from the NASL side Indy Eleven, who signed the striker from Finnish side FC Ilves in 2014. The 24-year-old striker made 21 appearances with the Indianapolis side before heading south.

The Polish striker grew up playing for the Chicago Fire’s academy and attended Bradley University, where he was named Conference Player of the Year during his senior season.
