FC Dallas and a world-famous South American soccer academy are forging an alliance.
FCD is partnering with Bolivia's Academia de Futbol Tahuichi Aguilera -- a six-time nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize with over 100 titles worldwide in its 40-year history -- in hopes of boosting development of their squads.
"We are going at it slowly, [but] I would love to have it and it'd be a pretty exciting agreement with Tahuichi," said Francisco Molina, scouting chief for the Dallas squad.
Molina spoke by phone from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, where he had traveled with the U-15 FCD unit for the ninth straight year to take part in the Mundialito Paz y Unidad.
