A man of the match performance from Maxi Urruti has earned the Argentine striker league honors as he was named Alcatel MLS Player of the Week.
After scoring the equalizer in a midweek win over Liga MX side CF Pachuca in the CONCACAF Champions League semifinal first leg, the 2015 MLS Cup winner scored twice as Dallas once again came from behind to down the New England Revolution in a rematch of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup final. The first came in the 71st minute after Cody Cropper rushed out to deflect a ball from the feet of Michael Barrios.
