It was good to be back home for FC Dallas on Wednesday night as they downed the Portland Timbers 2-1.
FC Dallas ended their scoreless streak at 347 minutes thanks to two quick goals in the second half by defenders Ryan Hollingshead and Walker Zimmerman.
Three minutes in the Timbers struck first with a goal from Diego Valeri. Darron Mattocks set up the play on the left wing when he crossed the ball over the Dallas defense to Lucas Melano. The Argentine's shot was saved by Chris Seitz but his punch out went straight to Valeri, who hammered it in the goal.
