Tigres, Super Group Champions of the 2018 Dallas Cup
The Dr Pepper Dallas Cup has announced the first major commitment for the 2019 tournament as Tigres will return to defend their two Super Group titles at the 40th Anniversary tournament next spring. In 2018, the historic Mexican side won the championship in both the Gordon Jago Super Group and the Univision Deportes Super 14s brackets.
Tigres is one of the most successful clubs in Dallas Cup history, having won 13 championships across all age groups. This past April, Tigres hoisted the club's third U19 Super Group "Boot and Ball" championship trophy after defeating Premier League side Arsenal FC 1-0 in the title match.
