The Dallas Cup isn't going out to buy a flashy sports car it doesn't need, but the legendary youth soccer tournament is throwing a party this year to celebrate its 40th birthday in style.

Some big-name guests will be there, with former United States international and Dallas Cup alumnus Landon Donovan set to take part in Sunday's Opening Day festivities. Luis "El Matador' Hernandez will be there too, with the former Mexico national team great giving a nod to the tournament strong relationship with Mexican clubs -- especially his former teams Tigres, which has won the prestigious Super Group more than any other club, and Monterrey, which has won the most trophies across all age levels in Dallas Cup history.
