Let me start this off by stating that I really appreciate Berhalter as both a player and a coach. As a player, he was fantastic at both the club and national team level, and I think his talents were underappreciated by the soccer community here in the US. As a coach, he did a phenomenal job in Columbus, under more severe financial restrictions than we have in Dallas and without the massive Academy program.
