FC Dallas took on Real Salt Lake on Saturday evening up in Utah and suffered the club's third loss of the season. With just three losses, FCD remains tied for the fewest losses in MLS with Portland Timbers.
Those three losses for FCD have all come on the road, at both New York teams and now at Real Salt Lake. RSL is now 8-1-1 at home with the lone loss in their home opener.
FCD still sits atop the West with 35 points, 1 point ahead of LAFC and 2 ahead of Sporting KC. The Toros have the 2nd most points in MLS overall behind the team they defeated on Wednesday, Atlanta United.
