FRISCO -- FC Dallas took advantage of an understrength Toronto FC, rolling past visiting Toronto FC 3-0 and extending an undefeated streak to three matches.
Playing in league play for the first time since June 8 because of a mini-break during the Gold Cup group stage, FCD too was missing players because of summer international tournaments. But midfielders Paxton Pomykal, Brandon Servania and Edwin Cerrillo all started after missing the month of May at the U-20 World Cup. The teenage trio, plus a strong effort from winger Michael Barrios and a good defensive effort, pushed FCD to the victory.
