Seattle explodes with three second half goals in win over FC Dallas

FC Dallas is now in a large hole after their 3-0 loss on Sunday night to the Seattle Sounders in the Western Conference semifinals. The Supporters’ Shield winners will return home this week with hopes of pulling off a miracle in the second leg.

Seattle had several chances early in the first half to get on the board. In the opening minutes Jordan Morris played a ball in across the goal where Nelson Valdez got a header on it that forced Chris Seitz to make a goal line save to keep the score level.

The Sounders had another chance in the first half that was cleared off the line twice by Matt Hedges after two attempts by Nicolas Lodeiro.
