Paul Quinn College, a historically black college (HBCU) in Southern Dallas, is for the first time in the school's 146-year existence competing for a national championship in soccer. Coach Jesus Vazquez led his Tigers into the tournament as the number four seed.
The USCAA D1 Championship kicked off on Thursday and Paul Quinn will play their opening Pool A game against Florida National University at 11:15 pm CT at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Paul Quinn's second and final Pool A game will take place on Saturday evening against Washington Adventist University.
