A late own goal in stoppage time saved FC Dallas from a complete disappointment as they tied the Vancouver Whitecaps 2-2.
The Caps picked up two first half goals from Lucas Cavallini and Andy Rose following some defensive errors by FC Dallas to offset a goal from Ricardo Pepi. But Dallas was bailed out, in the end, thanks to an own goal from Ranko Veselinovic.
FC Dallas had good momentum early in this one as they found success on the left side of the field with Ryan Hollingshead and John Nelson overlapping one another.
