Oklahoma City Energy FC re-sign defender Michael Harris

The Oklahoma City Energy FC have announced their first deal of 2017 by re-signing defender Michael Harris for the upcoming USL season – pending USL and U.S. Soccer Federation approval.

Harris, 25, played in 30 total matches for Oklahoma City last season, compiling 2346 minutes played and four assists.

The Seattle native will return to Jimmy Nielsen’s squad for his third straight season with the club. Previously, Harris played professionally for Seattle Sounders FC U-23 and the Washington Crossfire. The 25-year-old defender spent his college career at the University of Washington, where he made a total of 76 appearances for the Huskies, scoring four goals and providing 19 assists.
