Oklahoma City Energy FC invite two players from tryout to training camp

As odd as it sounds, average people can still strive to become professional soccer players.

Last weekend, the Oklahoma City Energy FC held an open tryout in hopes to bolster their roster as well as make a great story. In this tryout, about a hundred players took to the pitch to show Jimmy Nielsen and the technical staff what they had.

As a result, the OKC Energy offered two players the opportunity to attend the team’s preseason training camp: midfielder Cole Missimo and striker Ivan Jakovljevic.

Both players have previously spent time playing professional soccer in the past; more importantly, one is a Dallas, Texas native.
