Major League Soccer have released the off season calendar for 2017/18, starting off with the option exercise deadline the Monday after Thanksgiving. All teams no longer competing in the playoffs must submit the list of exercised and declined options, which we're keeping track of with our transfer tracker.
As Buzz highlighted in his Expansion Draft projection, that draft will indeed take place three days after MLS Cup, following a brief trade window. Los Angeles FC will receive five picks. Teams are only able to lose a single player not included in the 11-man protected list chosen by the team, or the Homegrown/Generation adidas exempt lists.
