Mexico manager Tata Martino was at Dallas City Hall on Tuesday and met some distinguished guests, including Dallas mayor Mike Rawlings.
Martino was in town to help promote El Tri's June 9 friendly match against Ecuador at AT&T Stadium. While much of the action will take place in Arlington, there also will be a fan fest two days before the contest outside City Hall.
"Dallas has a large and passionate fan base for the Mexican national team, and we look forward to celebrating that partnership. It gets bigger every year," Rawlings said. "At AT&T Stadium, we know they love the Cowboys, but at times I think they like the Mexican national team better.
