The already crowded Metroplex soccer landscape got a new member today with the launch of the Mesquite Outlaws. The Outlaws are joining the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) for the 2019-20 season and will play home games at the iconic Mesquite Arena.
The Mesquite Outlaws are owned by Mehrdad Moayedi, a Dallas-Fort Worth real estate developer and owner of Centurion American Development Group.
"The Arena has been a staple in Mesquite. The addition of the Outlaws professional indoor soccer team will bring unique, value-added entertainment to the surrounding community," Moayedi said. "Expanding upon the already successful programming in the Arena will allow it to be a hub of excitement, consistent traffic, economic growth and place the community can continue to enjoy year-round.
