FC Dallas announced today that defender Marquinhos Pedroso had successful surgery to repair a muscle core injury today at the Vincera Institute in Philadelphia, PA. This kind of muscle core injury is commonly refered to as a "sports hernia."
The procedure was performed by Dr. William Myers. Pedroso is expected to recover fully in six-to-eight weeks.
