HOUSTON -- FC Dallas advanced to the semifinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup with a 1-0 win over Houston on Wednesday night.
Fabian Castillo scored on a left-footed shot in the 90th minute. FC Dallas will play the LA Galaxy or the Seattle Sounders in the semifinals.
Castillo gained possession near the top of the box and dribbled horizontally by Dynamo midfielder Collen Warner. Castillo ran into the box and touched it around defender Jalil Anibaba to create space near the left post.
Dynamo goalkeeper Joe Willis was a step off his line and away from the post.
