How FC Dallas' scoring potential hasn't dropped despite key absences

With Mauro Diaz and Kellyn Acosta absent for the past several matches, there have been different players than usual in charge of taking set pieces. Even when they're not on the field, the set plays have been designed by assistant coaches Josema Bazan and Marco Ferruzzi with input from strength and conditioning coach Fabian Bazan.

Victor Ulloa and Santiago Mosquera were over the ball for the corner kicks and set pieces Sunday, and center back Matt Hedges, a big body tasked with getting into the area to look for a header, said it requires subtle adjustments.

"Everybody has a different delivery," Hedges said.
