For FC Dallas, it was a positive week on the road. Back-to-back away wins have vaulted the club into second place in the Western Conference (23 points), two points ahead of Saturday's opponent, Los Angeles Football Club.
FCD will look to build on its 13-game home unbeaten streak at Toyota Stadium in Frisco.
This will be the second meeting of the season between the clubs after they played to a 1-1 draw in Los Angeles on May 5. LAFC broke the FCD press early in that match, prompting Dallas to shift to a 4-3-3 formation.
"I think they exposed us in our pockets," FC Dallas coach Oscar Pareja said.
