Here's how FC Dallas will replace injured Kellyn Acosta in lineup

Kellyn Acosta didn't travel to Panama for the first leg, and later in the week the team announced that he'd instead gone to Philadelphia to undergo surgery to repair a sports hernia. He is expected to be out six to eight weeks.

The 22-year-old midfielder is one of the most consistent players on the team, but coach Oscar Pareja didn't have to think long about how to replace Acosta in the center of midfield next to Carlos Gruezo.

Victor Ulloa has seen minutes in at least 20 games each of the last four seasons, starting 33 matches in 2015 before Gruezo arrived and pushed Ulloa to a reserve role.
