Head Coach April Kater has called in 48 players for a U-14 US girls national team camp in Norco, California Feb. 25-March 4. Three former US women's national team players will assist Kater: Tina Ellertson, Kelley Cagle (nee Walbert) and Justi Baumgardt-Yamada.
Four local girls were selected among the 48. FC Dallas striker Jaedyn Shaw from Frisco and three players from Solar: midfielder Georgia Leb from Colleyville, defender Abby-Lee Sango from Plano, and goalkeeper Olivia Ramey from Frisco.
FC Dallas fans may know the name Jaedyn Shaw already. In June she made her debut with the FCD Women WPSL side as a 12-year-old.
