Declan O'Shea sent an early message to the rest of the Lone Star Conference with a blinder of a goal in the 19th minute on Saturday.
O'Shea and fellow midfielder Jamie Lovegrove paced the Vaqueros to a 3-0 victory against Tyler FC (0-2) in the NPSL Lone Star Conference opener at Farrington Field. From 29 yards out, O'Shea one-timed a throw-in for a cracker of a shot inside the right post to open the 2019 season in style.
The Vaqueros (1-0, 3 points) added to the first half lead when O'Shea set up Lovegrove for a 33rd-minute goal and the 2-0 lead.
