For US Soccer, failure is an option and maybe the only real path for change

Tuesday night the US Mens National Team, in all likelihood, will find a way to win in Columbus against Guatemala and suddenly the latest "American Soccer Crisis" will have been averted, yet again, for at least a few months.

We've been here before. The collective hair has been pulled out worrying of missing a World Cup and always - mostly because CONCACAF is a comparatively shallow pool of quality competition - found ourselves enjoying that World Cup because our boys are playing in it.
