North Texas SC has announced another five signings ahead of its inaugural season, with two coming straight from the FC Dallas Academy - Carlos Avilez and Arturo Rodriguez - and three coming from abroad - Oscar Romero, Bicou Bissainthe, Abdoul Gaffar Ibrahim.
Goalkeeper Carlos Avilez, 20, began playing for the FC Dallas U-17/18 USSDA side during the 2015-2016 season, splitting his time between that and the U-15/16 team and moved to the U-18/19 team for 15 games during the 2017-2018 season. In May of 2017, Avilez signed a USL contract with FC Dallas and remained with the senior team, never being sent to OKC Energy FC.
