FRISCO -- Kellyn Acosta not only scored his first goal of the 2016 season Saturday night against Real Salt Lake at Toyota Stadium, but the Plano native also ended a rather lengthy scoring drought.
Prior to Saturday, Acosta, 20, hadn't scored since a 4-1 win against rival Houston on Oct. 4, 2015 in Frisco, a span of 17 games. Saturday's goal in the 18th minute was the fourth of Acosta's career. Acosta played 38 games before scoring his first career goal in a 2-1 win against D.
