FRISCO -- FC Dallas' winless streak was extended to five matches with a 1-1 draw against LAFC on Sunday night, but it's a result the club will take after spending most of the second half down a man to MLS' best attack.
Carlos Vela, the league's leading goalscorer, put a penalty kick past Jesse Gonzalez in the 80th minute, after having one saved by the goalkeeper in the first half. That matched a first-half goal from Ryan Hollingshead as the teams split a point at Toyota Stadium.
"Have to be proud of the guys to get a point.
