FC Dallas bowed out of the Generation adidas Cup against an impressive Dinamo Zagreb side. Zagreb had got to the quarter final by beating LA Galaxy and Toronto, although they did slip up against Uruguayan club Peñarol.
FC Dallas dominated possession and territory as Dinamo happily sat back with the Coatian side holding a strong advantage in terms of both athleticism and organization on the break. Zagreb had half a dozen of the Croatian U-17 national team in their lineup, their quality was evident, but a couple of mistakes from FCD really proved costly.
