It may have been a bit of a shock to FC Dallas fans but the club has traded veteran winger Michael Barrios to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for an international roster slot and SuperDraft considerations.
FC Dallas will swap picks in this month’s SuperDraft with the Rapids by taking the 15th pick in exchange for the 21st pick.
UPDATE: The trade is now official. Additionally, FC Dallas will receive additional incentives if Barrios meets certain performance metrics while with the Rapids.
