It should not be lost in the hullabaloo of the new FC Dallas USL League One side launch, North Texas SC, that the club's first player signing was announced as none other than Ricardo Pepi. This is a fantastic move by FC Dallas.
With all apologies to Carlos Avilez, who was signed to a USL contract by FC Dallas over a year ago, Pepi as the "first North Texas SC player signing" is a fantastic get and exactly the kind of player that FC Dallas needs to lock up to a contract via the USL team.
