FC Dallas has made the first signing of the Luchi Gonzalez era with 29-year-old Czech striker Zdenu011bk Ondrášek. Ondrášek arrives from Polish side Wisla Krakow. FC Dallas revealed that Targeted Allocation Money was used.
Ondrášek - or as he's also known The Cobra - recorded 21 goals and 10 assists from 69 games in Krakow. An achilles tendon issue saw the 6'1" striker sit out six months, only returning this time last year with a recovery period that saw only four further games played in the remainder of the 2017/18 season. He has bounced back with 12 goals and two assists from 20 appearances this season, in what has arguably been the most productive stretch of his career.
