FC Dallas opens the 2020 season at home against the Philadelphia Union

The home openers for the 2020 season were unveiled today by Major League Soccer and for the first time, the regular season will begin in February, on Leap Day no less as FC Dallas host the Philadelphia Union.

Dallas and Philadelphia are apart of a eight game slate that also sees the debut of Nashville SC. Fellow expansion side Inter Miami will make their MLS debut the following day in LA against the defending Supporter Shield winners, LAFC.

This will mark the 25th season for MLS and FC Dallas. We’ve seen Dallas host the Union once before at First Kick, when the two side squared off in at Toyota Stadium back in 2016 when the home side came away victorious in a 2-0 win.
