FC Dallas' team faced Bayern Munich's U-23 team which was full of players returning to the club, and the experience showed in a 4-0 victory.
The home side was up 2-0 after 15 minutes thanks to a third-minute goal from Dominique Badji and a 15th-minute goal from Jacori Hayes.
The team lined up in a 4-3-3 with Carlos Gruezo sitting behind Hayes and Paxton Pomykal in the midfield and Santiago Mosquera and Michael Barrios on the wings with Badji playing as center forward.
"We're trying to show the tactics that we've learned the first couple weeks of this preseason," Hayes said.
