No need for a "breaking in" period.
FC Dallas defender Walker Zimmerman made his international debut and started after coach Bruce Arena changed nine of his 11 starters from the game against Serbia, and was named the Player of the Match in the United States' 1-0 victory over Jamaica.
The 23-year old was called up to the U.S Men's National Team camp in January alongside teammates Kellyn Acosta and Matt Hedges (who were both dropped from roster with injuries). Zimmerman started 30 matches for FCD in the 2016 MLS season, scoring four goals in his team-high 2,700 minutes played.
