After FC Dallas defeated OKC Energy in the Fourth Round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, their next step to claiming the prize for a third time was revealed in this morning's Fifth Round draw at Soccer House in Chicago.
Dallas were placed in the Midwest group of four teams with fellow MLS sides Houston Dynamo and Minnesota United, and USL Championship club New Mexico United. The outcome sees the Albuquerque outfit visit Toyota Stadium on June 18th or 19th.
Since New Mexico United share a home with the Albuquerque Isotopes baseball team, who already had games scheduled during the game week for the Fifth Round, they were not eligible to host.
