After yesterday's stonewalling non-answer, FC Dallas has now made it official and confirmed the signing of center back Reto Ziegler from Swiss first division side FC Luzern.

The 31 year old journeyman Ziegler has spent the last four season in Switzerland. Since the start of the 2015-16 season, he has made 64 starts and has scored 13 goals.
Ziegler is the 2nd Swiss player to play for the Dallas franchise.
