FC Dallas has announced three appointments to Luchi Gonzalez's coaching staff: former FC Dallas Academy coaches Peter Luccin and Mikey Varas as well as current FC Dallas goalkeeping coach Drew Keeshan.
39-year-old Luccin, a former FC Dallas player, coached the FC Dallas U13s a season ago and moved with that group up to U14s in the Academy this year. He also spent most of 2018 coaching with the first team, in what may have been a volunteer role, focusing on the midfielders and younger players.
During his career, Luccin played at some of the highest levels in Europe with Bordeaux, Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain, Celta de Vigo, Celta, Atlético Madrid, Zaragoza, Racing Santander, and FC Lausanne-Sport before joining FC Dallas.
