FRISCO -- FC Dallas and Saturday's opponent, the Columbus Crew, will always have some things in common.
They were original MLS teams and were two of the first three teams in the U.S. to build facilities dedicated to soccer. That was no coincidence, since the Hunt Sports Group owned both teams until the Crew were sold to Anthony Precourt in 2013.
Strangely, the ownership change has made the teams more alike than ever on the field.
Precourt brought in Gregg Berhalter, a young coach with MLS playing experience in addition to experience playing abroad, to lead the team.
