North Texas SC has appointed its first head coach, Eric Quill, from the Texans SC Houston organization, where he served as technical director and U-19 head coach. Under his leadership, Texans SC won the 2017 U-18 U. S. Soccer Development Academy title. Prior to joining Texans SC, Quill previously worked as assistant coach with the U-15, U-17, and U-19 youth national team programs, as well as working as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator with the University of Houston Cougars women's soccer team.
Quill is a bit of an interesting hire, with limited previous ties to the current FC Dallas organization, though he did play in MLS for the then-Dallas Burn during the 2004 season.
