We're in the waning moments of the 2019 Dr Pepper Dallas Cup, with only playoffs remaining for this year's participants. While none of the local teams made it to the playoffs of the U19 Gordon Jago Super Group, there are still plenty of local and FC Dallas-related teams to highlight before Saturday's action.
First, a quick recap. FC Dallas's top academy side had a rough run in this year's Super Group. They began the tournament with a 3-1 loss to Villareal, before drawing Queretaro 1-1 and losing 4-3 to Red Bull Brasil. This left them fourth of four in their bracket and well outside playoff contention.
