It’s silly season, so let’s have some fun, shall we?
Go back about ten years ago, and FC Dallas with the 2nd pick of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft selected a lanky, funny-haired Texan by the name of Brek. And, boy, it was a fun few years of soccer:
First, I confess my bias. Brek was a joy to watch player soccer in those few years and was partly the reason why I got into watching FC Dallas. Sure, he wore out his welcome and had some visible conflicts with coaching staff, but he also did some things on the soccer field to change up the game and electrify the crowd.
