As FC Dallas goes through first losing streak under Luchi Gonzalez, he says team needs to have a 'killer instinct'

FRISCO -- When it rains it pours, and while the precipitation held off for most of FC Dallas' 3-1 loss against the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, FC Dallas coach Luchi Gonzalez may feel like a man being followed by a dark cloud.

Already trying to find an answer for a punchless attack, Gonzalez had to substitute off forward Dominique Badji in the first half and then watched as his team finished the match with 10 men while winger Santiago Mosquera received medical attention and eventually was stretchered off the playing surface.

"We need to keep working not just to create a moment around the box, but to put it away, to have a killer instinct and conviction that it needs to be on target or crash (the goal) and get a second chance.
