What a year it has been!
After reviewing my past Workhorse of the Week columns from the season, giving you loyal readers and fans a chance to vote for your “workhorse” FC Dallas player from each week of action, I was hit by how much this season has been filled with change.
For example, FC Dallas witnessed the emergence of a series of young players, some of whom have fought their way into a starting spot and others who only contributed in a brief few games before disappearing down the depth chart. We had these moments in this wild season when the potential of guys like Edwin Cerrillo and John Nelson threatened to become a major storyline.
