The Houston Texans select Notre Dame center, Nick Martin.
With the 53rd overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans selected center from Notre Dame, Nick Martin. Martin instantly upgrades a center position that needed help on the interior of the offense line. It looks like he will have an inside track to the starting position week one, if everything plays out accordingly.
Starting in a 13 games in 2014, Martin was a team captain and that was his first season to play another position besides center. He played 10 games at guard this past season, after becoming the starting center in 2013.
