The Denver Broncos hope they finally found a fullback that will stick. They selected Nebraska trucker Andy Janovich in the sixth round, after trading out of the fifth round altogether.
Janovich, 6-foot-1, 238 pounds, is built like a tank. He was a walk-on at Nebraska and is coming off a productive career as a Cornhusker. Most draftniks had a seventh round grade on Janovich.
Some would argue that the Broncos reached a little to select Janovich, but ultimately, they got the guy they feel like fits their system and locker room culture best.
