Heading into the eighth week of the fantasy season, playoff races are starting to take shape. Some owners are sitting pretty at 6-1 or 5-2 and thinking about locking up a first-round bye. Some unfortunate souls are 1-6 or 2-5 and trying to figure out where it all went so horribly wrong.
But an even larger group are sitting at 3-4 or 4-3. There's still plenty of time to make a postseason push. But there also isn't much margin for error. Every week's game is crucial. Every weekly matchup within that game even more so.
Being faced with all those lineup decisions—any one of which can be the difference between a win and a loss—is enough to give fantasy owners a headache.
