Denver Broncos kicker Connor Barth has been released to make room for newly signed offensive guard Evan Mathis. This leaves the starting kicker job to Brandon McManus. McManus struggled at times last season leading to the Barth signing but has had a very good offseason and training camp, earning him the nod over Barth.
Fantasy Analysis:
Barth is actually being drafted as the eighth kicker coming off draft boards according to his ADP. Which is exactly what made a kicker news blurb relevant. Hopefully if you drafted Barth your waivers open prior to Week 1.
