According to Bills general manager Doug Whaley, the quarterbacks' competition in Buffalo is a three-horse race. It has widely been considered that the starting job will be fought out between E.J. Manuel and Matt Cassel. Whaley says not so fast, Tyrod Taylor is very much in the competition and will be given first-team reps as well. "The way they're structuring practices everyone is getting a run with the ones," Whaley said when asked about Taylor's reps. "So it's a fair shake. In this system that we're trying to figure out who is going to be the number one it's all about competition.
